The staff were very courteous and professional. When we asked for additional pillows, blankets, soaps and tooth brushes/paste, the staff followed through our requests in a timely manner. The housekeeper lady for our room 1121 on Saturday October 18, 2025 did a very good job cleaning our room during our stay although I did not catch her name. One particular staff, Declan, went above and beyond the call of duties to make sure that we, a party of three, were comfortable. This included a courtesy room upgrade for a Hilton Gold member when there was a one-BR suite available. Having said all that, I would recommend getting a final folio before checking out, though.

Has everything you need. Perfect amount of space for us. The only thing that would've made it perfect would've been an oven or at least an induction range. Perfect large queen bed. Clean sheets. We did a bedbug check and found no remnants of pests or bloodstains. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Check in did take a bit longer than normal because we booked a special rate. But otherwise, perfect! :) Two major gripes though. We would've preferred to be on a higher floor. But, I assume, because of the rate we booked, we got whatever was a available. And the room itself was not sound proofed. We could hear our TV in the hallway. The walls were very thin.

Mark at the front desk was a life saver!!!! We were blown away with his customer service and care for us. We arrived to the hotel late at night and were informed that Expedia bumped our reservation to another hotel without informing us and Mark was patient and kind to help us find a solution and was able to rectify this mistake and book us a room with them. We are so thankful for him, his team and the Hilton!! Room was beautiful and very clean.

I think Home2 Suites is generally a great value as a chain, you get a lot for the price. In fairness, I have stayed in locations in smaller markets that have exponentially more space in the rooms, but for a more compact major city there's still plenty of space to stretch out. The staff that we interacted with were kind and helpful, they gave us directions to train stations and recommendations. The room was clean and well appointed. The location is close enough to anywhere you want to go. I have stayed at boutique type hotels in Chicago to try new things and, while I wouldn't discourage the adventurism of that, sometimes for a spur of the moment trip a good, consistently reliable name is just a good choice. We had a very good experience.

Parking is a block away, paid. The room is great. Lobby is very nice for a H2S. Front desk staff wasn’t super warm and welcoming like most Hiltons but they were cordial. The morning breakfast attendant was very helpful.

Great location. Walking distance to just about anywhere in downtown, which was super convenient. Prices were reasonable, breakfast was a nice bonus, the staff was very helpful throughout our stay. It was also really nice to have a full kitchen in the room alongside a nicely stocked bathroom with a walk-in shower. The only downside was the lack of general hotel upkeep. Upon check-in, Our 15th-floor window was shattered and covered with plywood, the refrigerator didn’t work (though the freezer did), and the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t. Overall, still a good stay and hotel, but some maintenance improvements would make it even better.

Wanted a Hilton property within walking distance of the TLScontact service to apply for a French long term stay Visa. Within 6 blocks (10-minute walk, 4-minute drive) of desired area. Also 6 blocks from "Eataly" store/dining. Union Station train depot is a 17-minute Uber/Lyft ride and costs ~$16 without tip added. Front desk staff was FABULOUS. Very approachable, friendly, and helpful. Additional staff (maid service, food service, etc.) were equally nice to interact with. Room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was adequate with some fresh fruit, proteins (sausage, real cooked (not scrambled) eggs, and hard-boiled eggs), plenty of cereal, bread, bagels, muffins, waffles made to order, juice, and loads of coffee and hot water for tea. Would happily stay again and strongly recommend - especially if you want close proximity to TLScontact business.

Had a great stay here for 4 nights. Lovely big room with a good coffee machine. Breakfast was ok, not much choice but just enough. Location is very good. No safe in room, the high rooms have some good views
